Answer: I am a sports Nutrition coach and a Specialist in Exercise therapy. Consider this. I am also tagging Doctor Sahitya Goteti for her inputs .

Yes any given day following a nutrition plan with inclusion of foods to help Heal/improve the
conditions and excluding foods that will impact the condition is a good idea (Vitamin C and E helps in healing ).

Because of the little background I have about the case consider Nutrition approaches if you have any signs of gas or Inflammation or pass on.

1. Limit dairy products. diarrhea, abdominal pain and gas improve when you limit or eliminate diary products.
2. If you are having signs of Inflammatory Digestive tract and If raw fruits and vegetables bother you, try steaming, baking or stewing them. You may also find that you can tolerate some fruits and vegetables but not others. In general, you may have more problems with foods in the cabbage family, such as broccoli and cauliflower, and with very crunchy foods such as raw apples and carrots. So keep a track.
3. "gassy" foods such as beans, cabbage and broccoli, raw fruit juices and fruits — especially citrus fruits — spicy food, popcorn, alcohol, caffeine, and foods and drinks that contain caffeine such as chocolate and soda should be eliminated.
4. Alcohol and beverages that contain caffeine stimulate your intestines.

Training: Check with your Doctor for a medical clearance and Start with mild/moderate intensity exercises to gradually increase the intensity and weights. Ask your Doc if you are healed and you can get back to strength training. Consider this example

If you do 3 Sets of Chest Press with 20 Kg producing 60 Kg volume of work, Doing 6 Sets with 10 KG will still produce the same 60KG of volume. So consider changing Number of sets, repetitions, rest interval between sets and Weight ONLY if your health permits or manipulate the rest factors mentioned to create intensity. Consider core strengthening exercises based on their Merit. This is not intended as a Medical advise.
